You would join our 1D System-Level Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for multi-physics system applications. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.
What You Will Do
- Model and simulate innovative powertrain and energy systems using GT-SUITE from conventional internal combustion engines to battery electric configurations.
- Develop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problems.
- Analyze simulation results and provide expertise on the observed physical phenomena.
- Document technical findings and workflows by creating high-quality reports, procedures, and training materials.
- Interact with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationships.
What You Will Bring
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical background and interest in powertrain technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with GT-SUITE (or other similar multi-physics system simulation tools) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and proven Python experience are a plus.
- Fluency in both Italian and English, with strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
