Job Description
Turner & Townsend is looking for a Site Manager to coordinate and supervise the implementation and realisation of a real estate project in Modena. This is a site-based role as the Site Manager is responsible for monitoring the progress of the project and providing an up-to-date insight into the status of a project in communication with multiple stakeholders within the project team.
- Oversee and direct the construction of the project up to its completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and evaluate extra costs when requested
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and required safety regulations and internal company practices (HSE)
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Track physical progress, cross evaluating with cost and schedule plans
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare periodic internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards from Italy and the use of proper construction techniques
Qualifications
- From 2 to 6 years of working experience in construction management
- Ideally experience in real estate.
- Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
- Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory
