Valentino is looking for an Intern who will be included in E‑Business Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:
Business Performance Monitoring
- Support daily/weekly/monthly monitoring of sales and main KPIs performance vs targets and vs last year. Identify insights on trend and performance gaps.
- Support the preparation of business reviews, consolidate data from multiple sources, assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Analyze product performance (categories, bestseller, etc), monitor sell‑through and stock availability and support the identification of commercial opportunities.
- Support cross‑functional activities with data extraction and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy.
Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting)
- Support the definition of the eBusiness sales targets by assisting the development of the monthly plan at Channel/Region/Full Price‑Markdown/Category level.
- Align with retail Planning team on seasonal planning and OTB development.
- Monitor the buying process, buying spent vs OTB, and ensure deviations are reflected in the Sales Plan.
- Support the Markdown flow actively managing inventory to maximize sales and achieve assigned targets.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expert knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Power Point
- Knowledge of BO, Qlik and SAP is a plus
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced enviro
