FP&A; Planning & Insights Lead
The challenge
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FP&A; Lead to join our
Finance, Performance & Analysis team based in our European HQ in Vimercate (MB).
This role is pivotal in driving financial insight, supporting strategic
decision-making, and ensuring robust financial planning and reporting processes
across the organization.
What you will do
Main Activities:
* Coordinate the preparation and presentation of executive-level reports and
financial reviews, synthesizing data from various departments and ensuring
alignment with strategic objectives.
* Drive the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring
consistency and integrity across scenarios and alignment with business goals.
* Act as a key finance partner to business controlling functions, leading ad
hoc analysis and strategic assessments to support decision-making.
* Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives in
FP&A; processes, tools, and reporting.
* Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative,
high-performance
culture within the function.
What you need to succeed
Must have
Professional Experience: 8–10 years of experience in FP&A;, Controlling, or
Finance roles, preferably in a multinational industrial company or consulting
firm.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven track record in leading planning cycles and financial reporting
processes.
* Solid understanding of financial modeling, business analytics, and
performance management.
Soft Skills:
* Teamwork oriented, strong leadership and communication skills, with the
ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
* High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
* Strong project management skills and capability to drive cross-functional
initiatives.
Technical Skills:
* Advanced in Excel and Powerpoint
