As an Originator, you drive the development and execution of long term commercial transactions in the Italian energy market, ranging from physical and virtual PPAs to structured supply and asset linked solutions. The role combines market insight, commercial creativity and analytical rigor to identify value accretive opportunities that expand Alpiq's portfolio and support clients on their decarbonization journey.
Success requires close collaboration with Structured Trading, Risk, Legal and central teams to ensure coherent pricing, sound valuation and hedging alignment,
ultimately contributing to the long term risk adjusted PnL of the Italian business.
Your accountabilitiesOriginate and structure physical and virtual PPAs, long term hedges, and structured transactions, ensuring commercial competitiveness, value creation and alignment with Alpiq's risk appetite.
Drive and support commercial and contractual negotiations with clients, producers and counterparties, coordinating closely with the Legal team to ensure robust and compliant contractual frameworks.
Provide market insights, quantitative valuations and structured business cases to support internal decision making and strengthen transaction value and feasibility.
Identify and originate opportunities linked to decarbonization, renewable attributes and sustainability driven products, contributing to portfolio growth and customer value.
