What To Expect Develop engineering concepts for mechanical components and assemblies within conventional and electrified powertrain systems Create 3 D CAD models and technical drawings using CATIA V5 Ensure manufacturability, geometric integration, serviceability, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations Coordinate with packaging, simulation, manufacturing, supplier,
and project teams Perform design studies and evaluate alternative concepts Support design reviews and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders Manage changes and continuously improve component designs during development phases The Position May Involve The Design And Integration Of Exhaust systems and exhaust components Air intake systems and ducting Cast housings for electric machines Cast housings for power electronics units Drive shafts and powertrain components Plastic covers and protective components Brackets, mounting systems, and structural parts E-mobility and high-voltage related mechanical components What You Bring Along Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanical design Proven experience in the independent development of at least one complex automotive component or assembly Experience throughout the complete product development cycle from concept design to product
