Location: Joining port Eemshaven-The Netherlands Vessel Type: Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessel Flag: Italy Contract Duration: 60 days Vessel Details Type: Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Built: 2010 Dimensions: Length overall 50m, Beam 15m Tonnage: Gross Tonnage 1397, Deadweight 1268 Propulsion: Two Wartsila diesel engines (8L32), total power 8000KW Bollard Pull: 123 tons Key Responsibilities Engine Room Management: Oversee and manage the operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems aboard the vessel. Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure timely maintenance and repair of engine room machinery, including diesel engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment. Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols in the engine room, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company policies. Team Supervision:
Supervise and direct engine room personnel, providing training and support to ensure efficient operations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of engine performance, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and repairs. Emergency Response: Lead the engine room team in emergency situations, coordinating with the master and deck crew to manage crises effectively. Resource Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for routine and emergency needs.
