L2 IT Support Engineer
Location: Rome, Italy
Experience: 3–5 years
Job Summary:
We are looking for an L2 IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for end users, IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and common business applications.
Diagnose and resolve basic LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
Perform hardware installation, configuration, replacement, and troubleshooting.
Manage user accounts, password resets, and access-related issues.
Handle IT incidents and service requests within defined SLA.
Install and configure software, operating systems, and security updates.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Coordinate with L1/L3, network,
application, and vendor teams for escalated issues.
Provide onsite support for new joiner setup, device refresh, moves/adds/changes, and IT equipment deployment.
Required Skills:
3–5 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / EUC Support.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
Good troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/Wi-Fi.
Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
English communication required; Italian is an advantage.
