The purpose of the role is to carry-out Embedded Software Development activities.
Main Tasks:
- Management of software items, from source code creation to software build and deployment
- HW/SW and SW/SW integration activity within Flight Control Computer team
- Source code development within Model-Based Design process (code auto-generator) and/or traditional process (hand-written code)
- Support troubleshooting and debug activity on simulated or real platform
- Software configuration activity according to applicable procedures and standards
- Participation in software peer-review meeting
- Contribution to software architecture definition, with particular attention to efficiency, maintenance and re-usability
- Contribution to evaluation and selection of proper HW and SW platforms for Flight Control Computer Education : Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar Seniority: Junior (1-3 years) Technical Skills :
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming
- Capable of performing troubleshoot and debug on existing code (and based on Problem Reports list)
- Knowledge of scripting languages for Unix/Windows
- Understanding of common best-practices for software engineering and configuration management processes
- Knowledge of data bus protocols such as ARINC 429, CAN, Ethernet, Serial (e.g.
RS-232/422/485)
