This Role
Job Title: Data Centre Installer
ATC's Data Centre Installers (DCIs) provide an essential service to our clients across Europe. They work inside our clients' data centres delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build their cloud infrastructure. Safety, security and customer service are the priorities for all ATC employees.
The DCI role provides candidates with opportunities to learn and develop. There are pathways to delivery supervisor, cabling technician, or team leader, and training and mentorship are provided.
Work Location: The DCIs will work onsite in our clients' data centres in Milan, Italy.
Contract Type: It's a full-time role with a permanent contract.
Role & Responsibilities
Attend clients' sites on time, with all required equipment, uniform, procedures and documentation, and PPE
Unloading, unpacking with power tools and positioning customers' IT hardware (server racks)
Occasional lifting, always carried out with the appropriate tools, safe methods, and team support
Providing industry-leading customer service levels by acting professionally with clients and colleagues at all times
Following clients' procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security
Communicating with colleagues, including managers, planners, team leaders and sup
