Learn more at iongroup.Com.Your RoleAs a General Ledger Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial accounting processes. You will manage general ledger activities, support closing and reporting cycles, and contribute to statutory, consolidated, and tax‑related requirements.Your Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely general ledger accounting in compliance with OIC and IFRS standardsRecord, classify,
and reconcile financial transactionsSupport monthly and annual closing processesContribute to the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statementsCollaborate with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholdersAnalyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunitiesSupport the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting procedures (SAP preferred)Contribute to HR‑related accounting activities (e.G., payroll postings)Other DutiesYou may be asked to support additional finance‑related tasks as your role evolves.Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications RequiredMaster’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)3-5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)Strong understanding of Italian tax regulationsFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office toolsAccuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detailGood communication skills and a collaborative mindsetFluency in Italian and good knowledge of EnglishWhat We OfferPermanent employment contract.LocationMilanImportant NotesAccording to the Italian Law (L.68/99) candidates from the disability list will be given priority.#J-18808-Ljbffr
