ph3Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centre /h3pbLocation: /b Italy /ppbEmployment: /b Permanent /ppbSector: /b Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure /ppA leading international engineering contractor is looking for an experienced bSenior Electrical Engineer /b to join a major construction project in bItaly /b. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level electrical engineer with strong bLV/MV and data centre experience /b to take responsibility for engineering activities across a major project, coordinating design through installation, testing and commissioning. /ph3The Role /h3pWorking as part of an integrated project team, you will lead engineering and design management activities while working closely with the project, construction, BIM, design and supply chain teams. /ppYou will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from bdesign review and technical coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover /b. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead electrical design reviews, identifying design gaps, discrepancies and deviations from specifications. /liliReview and validate cable sizing and provide technical recommendations. /liliComplete technical assessments and resolve engineering issues efficiently. /liliPrepare and manage electrical technical submittals through the approval process. /liliCoordinate procurement, delivery and verification of electrical equipment. /liliWork closely with BIM and design teams to ensure designs are fully constructible. /liliLiaise with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors and project teams.
/liliMonitor engineering and construction progress against the project programme. /liliCarry out electrical system walk-downs to verify installations against drawings and specifications. /liliCompile test packs, FTOPs and OM documentation. /liliManage specialist vendors throughout testing and commissioning. /liliSupport client training and successful project handover. /liliLead engineering design and design management activities. /liliLead pre-construction engineering activities, including design development, construction details, services coordination and technical documentation. /liliProvide technical support to construction, procurement, commercial, estimating and bid teams. /liliProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates. /liliSupport continuous improvement of project QA and engineering processes. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulli3rd-level qualification in bElectrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering /b. /lilib7+ years' project engineering experience /b, ideally within construction. /liliStrong experience with bLV and MV electrical systems /b. /liliProven experience delivering electrical projects within bdata centres /b, commercial,
