pI am currently recruiting a Design Manager for a reputable General Contractor to be based on a large scale data centre project in the Milan area, the next project on a large campus that will see work continue for years to come. Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of CSA and ME packages experience is key. You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises. /ppbr/ppSalary is very much dependant on experience, but there is flexibility for high performers who have successfully delivered large data centre projects in the past. /b /pulliRegular meetings with the production team and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately /liliManage and coordinate external consultants /liliPrepare technical specifications /liliLiaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works /liliControl the design process, from planning application through to project completion /liliEnsure consultants prepare the detailed design by Employers Requirement and Contractors Proposals /liliManage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered /liliSet up information registers and ensure information control is following all relevant procedures /liliReview design development to allow construction of works to follow safe working practices /li /ulpbr/ppbDesign Manager Background: /b /pulliOver five years’ experience as a design/technical manager with a developer/main contractor /liliPrevious ME experience is essential /liliMain contracting background /liliHistory of completing projects on time and budget /lilibEU PASSPORT OR ITALIAN RTW ESSENTIAL /b /liliA degree in Architecture or Engineering /li /ulpbr/ppThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven Design Manager to work with a leading and reputable main contractor in their field.
