pWe are looking for an experienced bSenior Materials Welding Engineer /b to join an international engineering team working on a complex project. /ppThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials engineering, corrosion management and fabrication, with solid experience in the boil gas / offshore industry /b and the ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple disciplines and suppliers. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliDevelop and review bmaterial selection strategies and technical specifications /b for pipelines, fittings, subsea structures, flanges and CRA materials. /liliDefine requirements related to bcorrosion allowance, pressure and temperature classes /b and material compatibility. /liliDevelop and review binternal and external corrosion protection strategies /b, including cathodic protection, coating systems and corrosion inhibitors. /liliReview corrosion assessments, CP calculations, anode systems and coating specifications. /liliSupport bwelding engineering and fabrication activities /b, including WPS/PQR reviews, welder qualifications, weld overlay/cladding, heat treatment and NDT requirements. /liliDefine and review bpipeline coating and field joint protection systems /b, including qualification testing and mechanical protection solutions. /liliContribute to bpipeline integrity and technical assurance activities /b, including fracture toughness, sour service, fatigue, material traceability and failure investigations. /liliParticipate in technical reviews, audits and the resolution of bNCRs and quality-related issues /b. /liliManage technical interfaces with bpipeline, structural, fabrication and installation teams /b.
/liliSupport bvendor qualification and manufacturing surveillance /b, including line pipe mills, CRA suppliers, bending facilities and coating plants. /liliParticipate in FATs, mill testing and coating qualification activities. /liliMonitor compliance with bITPs, QCPs, QA/QC requirements and technical documentation /b. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /pulliBachelor's degree in bMaterials, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Corrosion Engineering /b. /liliAt least b12 years of relevant experience /b in materials engineering within the boffshore/subsea or oil gas industry /b. /liliProven experience with bline pipe manufacturing, coating facilities and offshore field joint coating /b. /liliStrong knowledge of bmetallurgy /b, particularly carbon steel, alloy steel, duplex and super duplex materials. /liliSolid expertise in binternal/external corrosion and cathodic protection /b. /liliExperience with offshore coating and insulation systems such as bFBE, 3LPE and polypropylene systems /b. /liliGood knowledge of bwelding metallurgy, HAZ control and NDT techniques /b. /liliStrong understanding of QA/QC processes and technical documentation. /liliExcellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills.

The position is governed by the bItalian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services /b applied by our company. /ppPlacement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
