It operates across Italy and Europe, delivering innovative, tailor‑made products for enterprise environments. /p h3Position /h3 pWe are looking for a bFirmware Developer /b to join the embedded systems team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for embedded devices, working across the full stack from low-level hardware interaction to user-facing interfaces. /p pThis role requires strong expertise in bC++ /b, embedded Linux (Yocto), and experience building reliable, scalable firmware solutions. /p pFamiliarity with microcontroller platforms such as ST, ESP32, or NXP is highly desirable. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using bC++ /b /li liCustomize and manage bembedded Linux distributions /b using Yocto /li liDevelop scripts and tools using Python for automation, testing, and integration /li liBuild and maintain UI components using Qt where applicable /li liInterface directly with hardware (drivers, peripherals, communication protocols) /li liDebug and optimize system performance, memory usage,
and power consumption /li liCollaborate with hardware engineers and cross‑functional teams /li liWrite clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code /li liParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development /li libStrong proficiency in C++ (modern standards preferred) /b /li liHands‑on experience with Yocto Project and bembedded Linux systems /b /li liSolid experience with Python /li liExperience developing applications with Qt (Qt/QML is a plus) /li liGood understanding of embedded systems architecture and constraints /li liExperience with debugging tools (JTAG, GDB) /li liFamiliarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.) /li liExperience with version control systems (Git) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with microcontroller platforms: STMicroelectronics (STM32), Espressif ESP32, NXP (i.MX, LPC, etc.) /li liKnowledge of bootloaders, BSPs, and device tree configuration /li liExperience with CI/CD pipelines for embedded systemsFamiliarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS) /li liBasic hardware troubleshooting skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer) /li /ul h3Location /h3 pGenova (max 1 day per week of remote working). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
