About the Company Near‑C is a lean, fast‑moving engineering consulting company working on high‑tech projects in the Defense & Security sector. We support industrial partners in developing advanced Radar and sensing systems, with a hands‑on approach and a strong technical mindset. If you want to grow in a place where engineering comes first and every project pushes your skills forward, you’ll feel at home here.
As a Radar System Engineer , you’ll be at the core of the system architecture: requirements, interfaces, integration, testing. It’s the perfect role for someone who wants to understand how a complex system really works , not just a small part of it. What You’ll Do (and why it’s exciting) Design the architecture of Radar systems operating in real‑world scenarios.
Manage interfaces across RF, electronics, software, power — a mix that accelerates your growth. Write and review technical documentation that actually matters (SRS, ICD, V&V;). Work with suppliers, internal teams, and industrial partners.
Participate in integration and testing — you’ll see the system come to life.
Contribute to configuration management and non‑conformity resolution. This is a role where you don’t work on a “piece” — you work on the system .
Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Mechanical or similar). ~1+ years of experience working with complex systems (automotive, avionics, railway also welcome). ~ Strong Italian and English skills. ~ System Engineering: requirements, V‑model, interface management. Hardware/software integration. Clear communication across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with Radar, RF, or advanced sensing. Scripting (Python, MATLAB) for analysis or automation. Electronic or telecom engineering background.
Salary range: 35k€–45k€ , based on experience. Permanent contract. Growth paths toward System Lead or Technical Specialist. Real, long‑term, complex projects — not “intern‑level tasks”. We value diversity and promote it throughout the entire selection process.
