Global TechOpS oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners. /ph3This is what you will do /h3pThe Environmental specialist is responsible for leading the site's environmental compliance strategy throughout the project and operational lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental legislation, corporate standards and permit requirements. /ppThe role is accountable for developing and maintaining the site's Environmental Management System, managing environmental permitting activities, supporting sustainable site development and ensuring environmental risks are effectively identified and managed. /ppWorking in close collaboration with the Process Safety Seveso Specialsit, the position contributes to the implementation of the site's Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring that environmental aspects related to Seveso legislation are effectively addressed and integrated into site operations. /ppThe position reports to the Head of HSE. /ph3You will be responsible for /h3h3Environmental Compliance /h3ulliEnsure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, corporate standards and permit requirements. /liliManage environmental permits, authorizations and regulatory obligations (AUA/ AIA)



/liliAct as the primary interface with environmental authorities and regulatory agencies. /liliCoordinate environmental inspections and support regulatory audits. /li /ulh3Environmental Management /h3ulliDevelop and maintain the Site Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 principles. /liliCoordinate environmental aspects and impacts assessments. /liliManage waste management programs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous substances and environmental monitoring activities. /liliMonitor environmental performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. /liliDevelop and implement environmental procedures, standards and operational controls. /li /ulh3Seveso Environmental Risk Management /h3ulliSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the environmental elements of the site's Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS). /liliCollaborate with the Process Safety Seveso Specialist in environmental risk assessments associated with Major Accident Hazards. /liliSupport environmental evaluations within the Management of Change (MOC) process. /liliContribute to emergency preparedness and emergency response planning from an environmental perspective. /liliEnsure environmental permits and compliance obligations remain aligned with site operational changes and Seveso requirements. /li /ulh3Projects Operational Readiness /h3ulliProvide environmental support to engineering projects from design through commissioning and start-up. /liliReview environmental requirements for new facilities, equipment and process modifications. /liliSupport environmental due diligence for new installations and process changes. /liliPromote Best Available Techniques (BAT) and environmental risk reduction measures during project execution. /li /ulh3Sustainability Continuous Improvement /h3ulliSupport Corporate Sustainability initiatives and environmental reporting. /liliContribute to biodiversity, energy efficiency, water stewardship and waste minimization programs. /liliIdentify opportunities to improve environmental performance and resource efficiency. /liliSupport ESG-related environmental initiatives. /li /ulh3Governance Assurance /h3ulliParticipate in internal, corporate and external audits. /liliManage corrective and preventive actions related to environmental findings. /liliPrepare environmental reports, KPIs and regulatory submissions. /liliSupport Management Reviews and Corporate reporting activities. /li /ulh3Cross-functional Collaboration /h3ulliCollaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Facilities,



Corporate HSE and the Process Safety Seveso specialist. /liliSupport cross-functional project teams during site commissioning and operational readiness. /liliPromote environmental awareness and foster a proactive environmental culture across the organization. /li /ulh3You will need to have /h3ulliDegree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or other relevant scientific disciplines. /liliProven experience in environmental management within pharmaceutical, chemical or highly regulated manufacturing environments. /liliGood knowledge of Italian environmental legislation and permitting processes (D.Lgs.152/2006). /liliExperience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001). /liliKnowledge of Seveso legislation and environmental aspects associated with Major Accident Prevention is considered a strong advantage. /liliFluent Italian and English. /li /ulh3We would prefer for you to have /h3ulliStrong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. /liliExperience supporting Seveso or other major hazard industrial sites. /liliProject management and stakeholder management skills. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a complex project environment. /liliExcellent communication and influencing skills. /liliContinuous improvement mindset. /li /ulh3Location /h3pNerviano, Milan /ph3Compensation Range /h3pThe minimum salary for this role is € 39.000, aligned to our established salary framework.
