Because if you want to find the real Venice, you have to get lost. /ppGenerator Venice stands on the waterfront of the island of Giudecca, one short stop on the Vapporetto from Piazza San Marco. This hostel was originally a warehouse, so the building blends history and character with contemporary design features.



/ppInside the Generator Venice hostel you'll find luxurious mosaic floors, a glass chandelier and an imposing stone fireplace. Public spaces are subtly split into intimate and open-plan areas - all surrounding the bar and café. Every room has a view of either the gardens, Lido, Notevole Canal or the iconic San Marco. Not bad for a hostel, aye? /ph3NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB /h3ulliTake ownership of the guest journey to ensure that you continuously raise the bar and create a truly unique Generator experience /liliKnow your guests and have a passion for independent travel and the road less travelled /liliDemonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding customer service /liliBe part of a great team within your department that get Generator and want to be themselves /liliMonitor our social spaces, lighting, sound and temperature, to make sure they embody the Generator brand and culture at all times /liliKnow your city, its cafés, bars and restaurants, its art, its music /liliEnsure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on, which include Fire Training and Health Safety and Food Hygiene /liliBe Responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty /liliCorrectly administer the Close of Shift procedures every shift with 100% accuracy and consistency /li /ulpNaturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties.
