pWe are looking for an experienced strongSenior Materials Welding Engineer /strong to join an international engineering team working on a complex project. /ppThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials engineering, corrosion management and fabrication, with solid experience in the strongoil gas / offshore industry /strong and the ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple disciplines and suppliers. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliDevelop and review strongmaterial selection strategies and technical specifications /strong for pipelines, fittings, subsea structures, flanges and CRA materials. /liliDefine requirements related to strongcorrosion allowance, pressure and temperature classes /strong and material compatibility. /liliDevelop and review stronginternal and external corrosion protection strategies /strong, including cathodic protection, coating systems and corrosion inhibitors. /liliReview corrosion assessments, CP calculations, anode systems and coating specifications. /liliSupport strongwelding engineering and fabrication activities /strong, including WPS/PQR reviews, welder qualifications, weld overlay/cladding, heat treatment and NDT requirements. /liliDefine and review strongpipeline coating and field joint protection systems /strong, including qualification testing and mechanical protection solutions. /liliContribute to strongpipeline integrity and technical assurance activities /strong, including fracture toughness, sour service, fatigue, material traceability and failure investigations. /liliParticipate in technical reviews, audits and the resolution of strongNCRs and quality-related issues /strong. /liliManage technical interfaces with strongpipeline, structural, fabrication and installation teams /strong.
/liliSupport strongvendor qualification and manufacturing surveillance /strong, including line pipe mills, CRA suppliers, bending facilities and coating plants. /liliParticipate in FATs, mill testing and coating qualification activities. /liliMonitor compliance with strongITPs, QCPs, QA/QC requirements and technical documentation /strong. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequirements /strong /pulliBachelor's degree in strongMaterials, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Corrosion Engineering /strong. /liliAt least strong12 years of relevant experience /strong in materials engineering within the strongoffshore/subsea or oil gas industry /strong. /liliProven experience with strongline pipe manufacturing, coating facilities and offshore field joint coating /strong. /liliStrong knowledge of strongmetallurgy /strong, particularly carbon steel, alloy steel, duplex and super duplex materials. /liliSolid expertise in stronginternal/external corrosion and cathodic protection /strong. /liliExperience with offshore coating and insulation systems such as strongFBE, 3LPE and polypropylene systems /strong. /liliGood knowledge of strongwelding metallurgy, HAZ control and NDT techniques /strong. /liliStrong understanding of QA/QC processes and technical documentation. /liliExcellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills. /liliPrevious experience working with international vendors,

The position is governed by the strongItalian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services /strong applied by our company. /ppPlacement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
