Compensation: to be defined according to the level of experience
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Control Systems Department at our Pavone del Mella (BS) facility.
The selected candidate will be involved in the design and development of control software for our industrial systems.
They will work on specific projects and collaborate closely with the assigned Job Leader and the Control System Coordinator, contributing to the creation of reliable technical solutions that meet safety standards and company requirements.
Main responsibilities
- Develop industrial automation software (PLC, HMI, Safety, Motion) based on technical specifications and electrical schematics.
- Prepare all required technical documentation (functional analysis, organic analysis, contractual documentation).
- Work closely with the Job Leader to define the software architecture, verify compliance with specifications, and follow company software standards.
- Prepare documentation for safety tests and complete project verification checklists.
- Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations and risk assessments.
- Interact with mechanical and fluidic designers, as well as external suppliers, to gather technical information.
- Support,
when required, commissioning activities and customer training—both at our facilities and at customer sites.
- Collaborate with other departments on related activities (e.G., risk analysis, technical assistance).
RequirementsTechnical skills
- PLC programming, safety systems, and HMI development.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manage technical documentation.
- Familiarity with applicable machine safety standards and regulations.
- Preferably, knowledge of industrial presses and related operational issues.
- Reliability and strong sense of responsibility.
- Analytical skills, methodical approach, and attention to quality.
- Teamwork attitude and effective collaboration.
Formation
- Technical background with specialization in automation, electronics, or mechatronics
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in automation software development (PLC/HMI)
The research is aimed at candidates of both sexes (L.903/77 and L.125/91).
