pHPE Group S.p.a Modena, Italia Manufacturing /ph3Company Description /h3pAtstrongHPE Group /strongwe design high-tech engineering solutions for the automotive, motorsport and advanced systems sectors. /ppWe are a fast-growing company rooted in the Motor Valley of Modena, with a strong focus on innovation. /ppWe believe that the real value of a company lies in its people: skills, passion, curiosity and the desire to challenge themselves every day. /ph3Position /h3pstrongEmbedded Software Engineer /strong /ppDesign, develop, integrate, and validate embedded software solutions for electronic control systems, ensuring quality, robustness, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.br/ppThe role contributes to the definition of software architecture, the development of embedded components, and integration on target hardware within multidisciplinary and technologically advanced environments. /ppstrongResponsibilities and Activities /strong /pulliDefine and develop embedded software architectures according to functional, performance, and target hardware requirements. /liliDevelop embedded software components and real-time applications using dedicated programming languages and development tools. /liliImplement and industrialize control models and software logic for embedded systems. /liliIntegrate application software, Basic Software, and legacy components, ensuring system compatibility and reliability. /liliPerform compilation, debugging, validation, and testing activities on target hardware. /liliCarry out Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and functional verification activities. /liliVerify code quality and compliance with software development guidelines and applicable standards. /liliCollaborate in defining software interfaces and communication protocols. /liliSupport troubleshooting and software issue analysis activities during integration and validation phases.
/liliPrepare and maintain up-to-date technical and Software Design documentation. /liliManage software versioning through dedicated repositories and contribute to software release processes. /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the achievement of technical, quality, and project objectives. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3pstrongTechnical: /strongbr/pulliDegree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical/scientific disciplines. /liliKnowledge of C programming language and Matlab/Simulink. /liliKnowledge of embedded software development principles and real-time systems. /liliUnderstanding of electronic control architectures and embedded systems. /liliFamiliarity with debugging, compilation, simulation, and software testing tools. /liliKnowledge of major industrial and embedded communication protocols (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, serial communication). /liliFamiliarity with software version control environments (e.g. Git). /liliKnowledge of software integration and validation processes. /liliKnowledge of standards and frameworks for safety-critical systems and modular software architectures is considered a plus. /liliGood written and spoken Italian proficiency (B2/C1 level). /liliGood written and spoken English proficiency (B2/C1 level). /li /ulpstrongSoft: /strongbr/pulliAbility to analyze and break down complex technical problems. /liliStructured approach to problem solving. /liliAbility to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments. /liliQuality-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement. /liliOrganizational skills and ability to manage priorities. /liliFlexibility and adaptability to different project and technological contexts. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliCollaborative attitude and willingness to share technical knowledge. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
