JOB SUMMARY
The Bell Boy is responsible for providing warm, efficient, and personalized guest service while creating an excellent first and last impression. The role includes safely transporting guests by buggy, handling guest luggage, delivering messages and parcels, and maintaining Front Office areas to resort standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly, professional, and personalized service to all guests.
- Assist with guest arrivals and departures, including handling, tagging, transporting, and storing luggage safely.
- Transport guests throughout the resort using buggies safely and responsibly.
- Ensure buggies are clean, safe, and properly maintained, and coordinate maintenance with Engineering.
- Deliver guest messages, parcels, and other items promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Lobby, Arrival Jetty, Luggage Room, and Front Office Back Office.
- Stay updated on guest arrivals, departures, VIPs, special requests, resort activities, and events.
- Follow all Front Office and Bell Boy SOPs, safety procedures, grooming standards, and resort policies.
- Maintain good communication and coordination with Reception, Guest Relations, Engineering, and other departments.
- Attend required departmental and resort training, including emergency and safety training.
- Assist with guest excursions when assigned by the HOD.
- Report guest concerns, damages, safety issues, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the HOD or Management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Bell Boy, Front Office, Guest Service, or similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, polite, and guest‑oriented attitude.
- Able to drive a resort buggy/club car safely.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle guest luggage.
- Good knowledge of resort facilities and services is an advantage.
- Well‑groomed with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Basic English communication skills, additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and attend required training
