ph3Simulation Engineer /h3pbStevanato Group /b is one of the world's largest providers of integrated containment and delivery solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. To strengthen our growth, we are looking for a high-potential, people-oriented Simulation Engineer to support us on our path toward developing advanced technology solutions in the pharmaceutical domain. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to understand and simulate physical phenomena for strategic RD projects. You will be responsible for implementing mathematical models involving multi-physical systems and materials and validating them using experimental data. /ppThe role is based in Piombino Dese (Padova), where our HQs is located. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliResearch and develop and implement mathematical models to describe complex multi-physical phenomena /liliValidate models with experimental data, collaborating with laboratory teams, analyse results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions /liliCollaborate closely with external partners and joint laboratories on model-based activities /liliConduct fundamental or applied research to improve products, components, or applications.
/liliProactively define problems and translate industrial needs into mathematical models with a scientific yet pragmatic approach /liliStay updated on latest simulation technologies and modelling techniques /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliM.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Energy, Chemical, Material or Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. /liliPreferably 2-3 years of work experience /liliDeep knowledge of solid mechanics: numerical methods, particularly the implicit/explicit Finite Element Method (FEM) – Material modelling (at least basic constitutive models in continuum mechanics). /liliGood knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD): e.g., experience in develop and implement CFD and thermal simulation models /liliExperience with LS-Dyna software is a plus /liliGood knowledge of industry leading simulation software such as Ansys tools, in particular Mechanical and Fluent, is a plus /liliStrong programming skills in MATLAB or Python is a plus /liliQuality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative. /liliStrong communication skills and fluency in English is a must /li /ulpLocation: Piombino Dese (Padova) /ppSeniority level: Associate /ppEmployment type: Full-time /ppJob function: Engineering and Analyst /ppIndustry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing /ppReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Stevanato Group by 2x /ppGet notified about new Simulation Engineer jobs in Piombino Dese, Veneto, Italy. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
