ph3Your Role /h3 pWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented bMechanical Testing Designer /bwho will ensure the reliability of finished products and me-chanical components/systems. You will be responsible for designing and executing tests, inspections, and certifications necessary to verify defined functional/reliability requirements, and continuously updating applicable regulatory references and compliance tests. /p h3Your Impact /h3 ul liEnsure the reliability of finished products and mechanical components/systems. /li liDesign and execute tests, inspections, and certifications to verify defined functional/reliability requirements. /li liContinuously update applicable regulatory references and compliance tests. /li liDefine mission profiles for machines and subsystems/components. /li liAnalyze potential failure modes and their effects. /li liDevelop test plans for functional/reliability verification of machines/components. /li liDesign tests and testing machines. /li liDesign equipment for measurements and experimental tests. /li liDefine test protocols and acceptance criteria. /li liConduct experimental measurements of loads applied to products by users and testing machines during testing. /li liConduct FEM, static, and dynamic analyses. /li liPerform experimental strain gauge analysis. /li liIdentify and address solutions to detected problems. /li liPrepare test reports and summary tables/documents for functional/product groups. /li /ul h3About You /h3 pIdeally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. /p h3What you should bring /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
/li li5-10 years of previous experience in mechanical testing and design. /li liKnowledge of industrial technical drawing and tolerances. /li liAnalytical and numerical structural calculation and machine component sizing. /li liKnowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic automation. /li liUnderstanding of product functionalities and proper/improper use. /li liKnowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) techniques. /li liMethods and tools for experimental stress/strain analysis. /li liKnowledge of fatigue and tribology phenomena. /li liScientific approach to experimentation. /li liStrong analytical and synthesis skills. /li liExperience in failure analysis. /li /ul h3Compensation Data /h3 pWe believe great work deserves great recognition. For this role, we offer an annual gross salary (RAL) between €35,000 and €50,000, based on your level of experience, technical skills, and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici).
