DescriptionThe incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Reservations departmentAssistant Reservations ManagerDepartmentRevenue & ReservationsEmployment TypeFull TimeLocationItaly - VeniceDescriptionThe incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Reservations departmentKey ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that all incoming enquiries are handled within a maximum of 24 hoursWorking with the revenue director to update the PMS codes and setup when necessaryAssisting the sales and events managers in effectively dealing with all commission and accounts queriesEnsuring all necessary billing instructions are applied to reservationsMaking sure that the team is fully informed of all rates, including negotiated and promotional rates,
and that any new promotions and packages are communicated effectively to all relevant departmentsEnsuring that the team answers all incoming telephone enquiries in a timely and professional mannerIdentifying and assisting with the training needs of team membersLiaising with the Sales team to resolve any issues, and handle site inspections and office visits' information in the PMSEnsuring that all VIP and special requests information is efficiently saved in the PMSSkills, Knowledge And ExpertiseDeep knowledge of Opera PMSAt least 2 years of previous experience in the hospitality business (luxury field is preferred)Excellent proficiency in Italian and English language, both written and spoken.#J-18808-Ljbffr
