The Procurement function has been progressively shaped to be a "best in class" contributor to this journey, with a solid governance, a clear strategy, and distinctive skills to support continued company growth and future acquisitions. In this context, ba new Commodity Manager, Direct Materials is now needed: an A-player /b, who can bring across fresh energy and strong functional skills to strengthen the function even further. /p pbPosition – The role: /b /p pThe bGlobal Commodity Manager /b will breport /b to the bProcurement Director of Business Unit /b and will take ownership of Raw Materials categories/Direct Materials. bThe role has an international scope /b, encompassing oversight of approximately b10 manufacturing plants globally /b /p pHe/she will be in charge of 1) Designing a comprehensiveb commodity strategy /b and, 2) bInitiating breakthrough Commodity Programs /b and Policies across the supply base, to bensure optimum TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) /b, on top of quality, delivery, sustainability, and innovation. /p pThe role implies coordination of 2/3 buyers. /p pThe complexity of the role and the recognised seniority will be driven by /p ullithe ability to shape in autonomy the bglobal strategy /b for the assigned commodity and group of key suppliers; and /lilithe capability to lead this strategy across a range of commodities, driving them through their next btransformation phase /b.



/li /ul pThe achievements obtained will generate high impact for the whole group and will be of high significance for a consistent professional career development. /p pbPosition – Specific responsibilities: /b /p ul liInitiate, develop, and implement beffective Supplier strategy /b, and Performance Programs. Create global Supply Market intelligence regarding Commodity related trends and technologies per region to design optimum sourcing footprint. /li libTake ownership of (existing / new) Supplier relationships /b: /li liIdentify Supplier capabilities, performance and technologies by conducting competitive assessments and benchmark of existing and potential suppliers /li liIdentify Commodity related business opportunities based on provided Supplier innovation/ideas /li liEnsure operational impact through fully compliant Supplier selection, contracting and risk management for all Commodity related Suppliers /li liDrive impact to the bottom and top line, ensuring 1) best results and synergies through bSupplier Performance development initiatives /b, and 2) an innovative negotiation approach. /li liEnsure deep understanding of Business Unit needs, and manage execution in alignment with BU functional axis /li libManage negotiations /b, Suppliers phase-in/phase-out, spend allocation controls, contractual terms and risk.



Ensure full utilization of Negotiation toolbox and approach to maximize sourcing savings and best results /li liOrchestrate all activities to ensure fast decision making, while being active member of the procurement team. Define convincing business cases and decision memos to ensure full commitment by the Businesses to provide required resource /li liEnsure effective communication and representation of Commodity strategy, programs and performance to all key-stakeholders /li liFinalize and approves Supplier Strategy and Business plan based on defined Commodity strategies and proposals. /li liCreate and aligns sourcing plan to optimize Supply Base and to implement Supplier enabled innovation /li liBrings YoY saving through negotiation and value engineering projects /li /ul pbRequirements: /b /p ul liDegree in Economics / Business Administration or Management Engineering /li libAbout 6-10 years’ experience in a similar role /b in Industrial environment and in complex multinational organizations renowned to be best in class. Previous experience in direct materials is not necessarily key as strong technical knowledge is already widespread in the team. /li libFull proficiency in spoken and written Italian and English /b. /li /ul pbKey skills include: /b /p ul liCome across with bthe drive of a change agent /b, who acts with curiosity and negotiates sharply. /li liPossess distinctive procurement expertise, compelling arguments, and the confidence to achieve results /li liBring personal energy and motivates the team through a combination ofb methodology, stamina, discipline, /bandb collaboration /b /li liAim at joining a highly dynamic organization, that has the ambition to grow further and position as best in class.
