p A growing building automation and controls company is expanding its presence across Europe and is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join its team in Milan. Per essere preso/a in considerazione per un colloquio, la preghiamo di assicurarsi che la sua candidatura sia pienamente in linea con le specifiche del lavoro riportate di seguito. brp The role will focus on the commissioning, testing and handover of BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects. /pp You will work closely with project managers, controls engineers, electrical and mechanical contractors, and client teams to ensure BMS systems are fully tested, integrated and operating in line with project specifications and critical infrastructure requirements. /pp This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning engineer with a strong BMS/controls background who wants to work on technically challenging mission-critical projects and develop their career within a growing international organisation. /p Responsibilities brulli Commission BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects. br/lili Carry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system commissioning. br/lili Test and commission HVAC control systems including AHUs, chillers, pumps, CRAC/CRAH units and associated equipment. br/lili Configure and test BMS controllers, I/O, sensors, actuators and field devices. br/lili Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, controls and communication issues. br/lili Complete functional performance testing in accordance with project specifications. br/lili Support integrated systems testing (IST) and client witnessing activities. br/lili Work with electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate commissioning activities. br/lili Interface with PLCs,
HVAC equipment and other third-party systems. br/lili Test communications and integrations using protocols such as BACnet and Modbus. br/lili Review BMS graphics, alarms, trends, sequences and control strategies. br/lili Produce commissioning records, test sheets and technical documentation. br/lili Identify defects and ensure issues are resolved prior to project handover. br/lili Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and project management teams. br/lili Support final project handover and provide technical assistance during the defects period. br/lili Ensure all commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project procedures. br/li /ul Desired Experience brulli Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, BMS Controls Engineer or Controls Commissioning Engineer. br/lili Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems. br/lili Experience commissioning DDC, PLC or BMS control systems. br/lili Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. br/lili Experience with HVAC plant and mechanical services. br/lili Good understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and field devices. br/lili Experience with BACnet, Modbus or similar communication protocols. br/lili Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation. br/lili Data centre / critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable. br/lili Experience working on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects. br/lili Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and contractors. br/lili Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe. xrdbqlu br/lili Fluent Italian and good English would be highly advantageous. br/li /ul#J-18808-Ljbffr /p
