The Core Team is the backbone of Translated's engineering organization. We own and evolve the backend systems and orchestration layer that powers how the company operates - from internal tooling and automations to translator-facing platforms and operational workflows. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work across the entire stack - building the backend services and internal APIs that drive our platforms, as well as the interfaces that translators, operations teams, and colleagues use every day. You're comfortable on both sides of the stack, and you take pride in delivering complete, polished features from database to UI. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, build, and maintain full stack features across backend services and frontend interfaces /li liBuild and evolve internal tools and platforms used across the company /li liOwn features end-to-end,



from technical design to production /li liContribute to automation and orchestration systems that improve operational efficiency /li liParticipate in code reviews - both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback /li liWrite tests and take code quality seriously (without being dogmatic about it) /li liCollaborate with teammates across engineering, product, and operations /li liWrite clear technical documentation that others can actually use /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in full stack software development /li liProficiency in Node.js (TypeScript and JavaScript) on the backend /li liProficiency in React and solid fundamentals in frontend development (HTML, CSS, browser APIs) /li liGood knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL) /li liSolid understanding of server-side web application architectures /li liComfortable working with Docker and containerised environments /li liProficiency in Git and GitHub-based workflows /li liEnjoys owning problems end-to-end and will go out of their way to acquire whatever knowledge it takes to get the job done /li liExcellent communication skills - able to talk about technical topics with non-technical people clearly and without condescension /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines /li liFamiliarity with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes /li liExperience with AWS services (especially S3, Lambda, SQS, EC2) /li liKnowledge of Test Driven Development principles /li liExperience with the Koa web framework /li liLinux shell scripting and Unix system administration /li /ul h3Headquarters /h3 pTranslated is hosted at Pi Campus, a working environment immersed in nature where 5 luxury villas in Rome (Italy)
