p We are looking for an experienced b Senior Materials Welding Engineer /b to join an international engineering team working on a complex project. p The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials engineering, corrosion management and fabrication, with solid experience in the b oil gas / offshore industry /b and the ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple disciplines and suppliers. /pp Sebbene l'esperienza competente e le qualifiche siano fondamentali per questo ruolo, si assicuri di verificare di possedere le soft skill preferenziali, se richieste, prima di candidarsi. brpb Key Responsibilities /b /pulli Develop and review b material selection strategies and technical specifications /b for pipelines, fittings, subsea structures, flanges and CRA materials. /lili Define requirements related to b corrosion allowance, pressure and temperature classes /b and material compatibility. /lili Develop and review b internal and external corrosion protection strategies /b , including cathodic protection, coating systems and corrosion inhibitors. /lili Review corrosion assessments, CP calculations, anode systems and coating specifications. /lili Support b welding engineering and fabrication activities /b , including WPS/PQR reviews, welder qualifications, weld overlay/cladding, heat treatment and NDT requirements. /lili Define and review b pipeline coating and field joint protection systems /b , including qualification testing and mechanical protection solutions. /lili Contribute to b pipeline integrity and technical assurance activities /b , including fracture toughness, sour service, fatigue, material traceability and failure investigations. /lili Participate in technical reviews,
audits and the resolution of b NCRs and quality-related issues /b . /lili Manage technical interfaces with b pipeline, structural, fabrication and installation teams /b . /lili Support b vendor qualification and manufacturing surveillance /b , including line pipe mills, CRA suppliers, bending facilities and coating plants. /lili Participate in FATs, mill testing and coating qualification activities. /lili Monitor compliance with b ITPs, QCPs, QA/QC requirements and technical documentation /b . /li /ul pb Requirements /b /pulli Bachelor's degree in b Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Corrosion Engineering /b . /lili At least b12 years of relevant experience /b in materials engineering within the b offshore/subsea or oil gas industry /b . /lili Proven experience with b line pipe manufacturing, coating facilities and offshore field joint coating /b . /lili Strong knowledge of b metallurgy /b , particularly carbon steel, alloy steel, duplex and super duplex materials. /lili Solid expertise in b internal/external corrosion and cathodic protection /b . /lili Experience with offshore coating and insulation systems such as b FBE, 3LPE and polypropylene systems /b . /lili Good knowledge of b welding metallurgy, HAZ control and NDT techniques /b . /lili Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and technical documentation.
/lili Excellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills. /lili Previous experience working with international vendors, fabrication yards and multidisciplinary engineering teams is highly desirable. /li /ul pb Standards Codes /b /pp Good knowledge of relevant international standards, including: /pullib DNV-ST-F101 /b /lilib API 5L /b /lilib ISO 13628 /b /lilib API 17D /b /li /ul p The salary range for this position is b€65,000 to €95,000 gross per year /b . The position is governed by the b Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services /b applied by our company. /pp Placement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
