ppAGL Designer Mission /p pWe are looking for talented and enthusiastic engineer who is technically curious, well organized and motivated to support our vision and help to change the future of aviation. We are now offering a fascinating position as AGL Designer. /p pDesigner in Airfield Ground Lighting is positioned as a cross-disciplinary technical integrator, able to connect AGL electronic products, electrical power systems, control and monitoring systems, mechanical and civil installation constraints and international standards. /p pIn OCEM the AGL Designer works on international airport projects in more than 190 countries, gaining exposure to different regulatory frameworks, requirements and standards. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ulliYou are accountable for AGL design, system and products integration. /liliYou support the Project Engineer and the Bidding Team in defining technical proposals, compliant to customer requirements and AGL international standards. /liliYou support the Project Engineer and the Project Management Team during the project life cycle. /liliYou generate and maintain system and product documentation such as AGL layout, electrical system schematics, product drawings and design reports. /liliYou support the activities of service engineers with AGL system and documentation upgrade. /liliDevelop, improve, and maintain the working tools (such as configurator, sign SW, tool for sizing) of the system engineering team. /li /ul h3Qualifications Skills /h3 ulliMinimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering. /liliA minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the electrical or construction industries, engineering companies, or complex technical environments, such as electrical installations, infrastructure projects, process plants, renewable energy plants, or industrial automation systems, is required. /liliSolid practical experience in electrical and/or civil design, system integration,
and electrical product installation. /liliThe ability to work across different technical disciplines, including power systems, control systems, field devices, installation requirements, and operational constraints, is key to success in this role. /liliAirport technology experience is not mandatory, but a strong interest in the field is highly appreciated. /liliA good understanding of local and international standards, as well as familiarity with designs developed in accordance with multiple regulations, is an advantage. /liliKnowledge of mechanical/electrical CAD tools is an asset. /liliThe ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements is essential. /liliExperience in the continuous and integrated use of generative artificial intelligence tools, together with a strong interest in and commitment to continuously learning new technologies, is key to success in this role. /liliGood organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential soft skills for this role. /liliGood analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. /liliFluency in English is required; an additional language would be considered a plus. /li /ul h3Personal Competence /h3 ulliYou have high degree of flexibility, a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach. /liliYou have an international, intercultural mindset and enjoy working with colleagues around the globe. /liliYou are creative, dedicated and open-minded, with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and effective solutions. /liliYou communicate clearly and concisely, and you are able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /liliWhen travelling internationally, representing OCEM Airfield, you act with professionalism, autonomy and sound judgement, taking initiative when appropriate. /liliYou are comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging aviation environment. /liliYou can handle some pressure and have great time management skills. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
