With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people. /p h3Global Application Engineer – Thermal Systems /h3 pWe are currently seeking a Global Application Engineer – Thermal System to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy ! /p pVertiv is seeking a highly motivated Global Application Engineer – Thermal System, to support the development and promotion of the complete Thermal Chain from Power generation to heat re-use. /p pIn this role, you will support and promote data center reference designs by integrating Thermal Systems with power grid or on-site power generation, and perform project-specific calculations to advance and promote the overall thermal system offering. /p h3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 ul liDevelop tools and documentation for data center reference designs. /li liIntegrate thermal system products into data centers connected to the grid or utilizing on-site power generation. /li liPerform project-specific thermal calculations related to heat recovery from on-site power generation, including integration with absorption and electric chillers. /li liSupport the integration of new products—such as cold storage systems, absorption chillers, and gas-powered chillers—into the thermal systems portfolio. /li liDevelop and maintain literature, benchmarks, presentations, and tools to support the promotion of thermal systems. /li liGather and analyze customer feedback; prepare benchmarking analysis and presentations. /li liKeep customer-facing offering documentation and marketing collateral up to date, including product literature, list prices, presentations,



and sales tools. /li liCollaborate with product managers to research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. /li liSupport the collection of customer insights to inform business cases for new products. /li liPrepare and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, competitive comparisons, and other sales enablement tools and collateral. /li liParticipate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and workshops/training sessions (WT) /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering preferred. /li li5+ years of technical experience in product or service roles preferred. /liliExperience data center thermal management or in air conditioning HVAC technologies is strongly preferred. /li liStrong technical aptitude to translate customer needs and pain points into effective solutions. /li liAbility to integrate diverse products into cohesive, solution-oriented systems. /li liProven skills in problem solving, data analysis, and project management. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills. /li liStrong customer focus with a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs- /li liFluent in English (written and verbal)- /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications. /li /ul pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p h3OUR CORE PRINCIPALS /h3 pOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
