As we continue our growth journey, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Team Lead to lead our operations team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day business.
Your RoleAs Operations Team Lead, you will oversee freight forwarding operations, support and develop a small team, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery. This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable managing people, improving processes, and handling operational activities when needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the daily activities of the Operations departmentSupport, coach, and develop a small team of operations professionalsActively participate in day-to-day operational activities, including import and export shipmentsDrive operational excellence by reviewing and improving processes and workflowsEnsure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulationsMonitor operational performance and control costs while maintaining service qualityBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, suppliers,
and other logistics partnersEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service deliveryIdentify operational challenges and implement practical, effective solutionsCollaborate closely with commercial and management teams to support business growthWhat We're Looking ForDegree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding operationsExperience across sea freight, air freight, and/or multimodal transport is an advantagePrevious team leadership or supervisory experience is preferredHands-on mindset with the ability to lead by exampleStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesCustomer-focused and proactive approachWhy Join Atlantic Gate?
