Then What We are looking for a Senior Network Automation Engineer.
In this role, you will define and drive the core automation strategy, converting traditional infrastructure into a scalable, automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) ecosystem across a multi-vendor network and security environment. Key Responsibilities
- Define coding standards and maintain Ansible infrastructure (playbooks, roles, plugins) using Netbox as the Source of Truth.
- Design automated workflows for multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet) while coordinating network and security teams.
- Automate device onboarding (switches, firewalls, APs) and implement GitLab pipelines for network changes and automated testing.
- Develop real-time validation scripts (BGP, interface status) and automate Juniper data center fabrics (VXLAN-EVPN architecture).
- Manage Git repositories with strict branching strategies, automate secure backups/failovers, and generate automated topology diagrams and dashboards.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in Python (networking libraries: Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, Nornir), Bash/Shell scripting, YAML/JSON,
Ansible, and Jinja2 templating.
- Advanced experience with Ansible, Git version control, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Netconf, Restconf, gNMI, gNOI, and Vendor-specific REST APIs.
- Strong experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat Linux), including shell scripting, system configuration, performance tuning, and network tool integration. Nice to Have: Knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols, overlay/underlay technologies (VXLAN-EVPN), SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, and streaming telemetry.
