Based in Milan , you'll be responsible for bringing complex electrical systems to life, ensuring every installation is commissioned safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards before handover.
Salary: €6,500 to €7,500 EUR net per month (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression

Future opportunities across Europe The Role
You'll take ownership of the testing, commissioning and energisation of critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring every system performs exactly as designed before client handover.
Working closely with project managers, design engineers, commissioning specialists and clients, you'll lead commissioning activities from planning through to project completion.
Your responsibilities will include
Planning and delivering electrical commissioning activities across hyperscale data centre projects
Testing and commissioning UPS systems,
generators, switchgear, transformers and LV electrical distribution systems
Developing commissioning procedures, programmes and method statements
Carrying out functional testing, integrated systems testing and load bank testing
Supporting energisation and critical system start-up activities
Leading commissioning packages on allocated projects
Producing commissioning reports, handover documentation and project close-out records
Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Investigating and resolving commissioning issues during project delivery
Supporting design teams by identifying improvements and lessons learned
Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and project requirements
Mentoring junior commissioning engineers and supporting their development
About You
You're a technically capable commissioning engineer who enjoys working in fast-paced mission critical environments. You take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work and have the confidence to lead commissioning activities on complex electrical systems.
Essential Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
5+ years' experience in electrical commissioning
Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems
Experience commissioning UPS systems, generators, switchgear and transformers
Previous experience delivering data centre, pharmaceutical or other mission critical projects
Excellent knowledge of electrical testing procedures and commissioning methodology
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and industry best practice
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple commissioning activities simultaneously
Fluent English
Desirable
Previous hyperscale data centre experience
Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier Standards
Familiarity with IEC and IEEE electrical standards
High Voltage commissioning experience
Previous experience leading commissioning teams
Ability to mentor junior engineers
Italian language skills (beneficial but not essential)
