I’m working with an exciting international technology company that is expanding its engineering team in Ticino and looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys distributed systems, architecture, and technical leadership.
Lead the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems
Own cross-team technical initiatives and influence engineering direction
Drive best practices across software design, testing, and observability
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or extensive equivalent professional experience
Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems, strong software engineering background
Strong experience with Golang, C++ or Ruby
Strong knowledge of system design,
algorithms and data structures
Experience with modern backend architectures, APIs and service-oriented systems
Strong automated testing experience, including TDD, BDD and integration testing
JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience is a plus
Fluent English; Italian is a plus
This role can be offered on a fully remote basis from Italy, so previous experience working successfully in a remote environment is required.
Candidates interested in relocating to Switzerland can also be considered and will receive a relocation allowance, provided they hold an EU passport. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
