Talamona manufacturing plant is the center of excellence for high tech turbomachinery components, and takes advantage of top notch technology in the industry such as additive manufacturing, advanced coatings, precision machining, robotics and automation. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies. Serve as the technical reference for the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring adherence to standards and supporting continuous improvement.
Fuel your passion Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus.
