At Auren Personas we work from the Recruitment & Executive Search division and we are dedicated to providing specialized Human Resources consulting services.
We are currently collaborating with a leading international Retail company looking for an Expansion Manager to drive growth across Southern Italy. The role offers location flexibility, with a preference for Rome or Naples, and requires frequent travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement our market entry and expansion strategies throughout Italy.
- Ensure all stores comply with company policies, regulations, and industry’s best practices.
- Conduct property scouting, feasibility studies, and prepare proposals for management approval.
- Assess potential locations based on demographic data, commercial viability and financial forecasts.
- Act as the main point of contact and build strong relationships with property owners, developers and real estate partners.
- Conduct negotiations on lease agreements and manage all the necessary documentation for opening new retail outlets.
- Closely monitor market trends, changes in consumer behavior and competitors’ moves to identify risks and new opportunities.
- Manage multiple expansion projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for entering new markets.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Property Studies or a related field.
- Solid professional experience in retail expansion is must
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting complex market data and financial indicators.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills: someone capable of independently managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professional proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; practical experience with Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) and Italian is required.
- Willingness to travel when necessary.
- A proactive and practical approach, and a genuine interest in the international retail sector.
