Automation System Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an Automation System Engineer to join a managed services team supporting and improving GMP manufacturing and automation systems . The role will focus on automation system support, PLC/SCADA troubleshooting, IT/OT infrastructure, cybersecurity, system qualification, disaster recovery, and the implementation of new and upgraded automation systems.
Must-Have Skills
Strong Automation experience within a GMP environment .
Strong knowledge of Siemens, MES, OSI-PI, and/or General Process Control .
Hands-on knowledge of PLC/SCADA, automation hardware, and industrial networking .
IT Security/Cybersecurity experience.
Experience with IT backup and Disaster Recovery .
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows operating systems , including Active Directory .
Basic database administration knowledge.
Strong competency in IT/OT infrastructure .
Ability to assess the criticality of application support issues and prioritize accordingly .
Strong troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
