Per conto di un nostro cliente cerchiamo un/una **Senior Google Cloud Architect / SRE** per una collaborazione freelance.
Non è una posizione full-time. Cerchiamo un professionista freelance esperto, ingaggiato inizialmente su un progetto di review e reengineering dell'infrastruttura Google Cloud esistente, a cui seguiranno advisory continuativa e reperibilità sugli incidenti critici.
Di cosa ti occuperai
• Analisi e ottimizzazione dell'architettura GCP attuale: VM, networking, storage e servizi cloud
• Revisione di scheduler, cron job, processi batch e automazioni infrastrutturali
• Ottimizzazione dei costi cloud, sizing delle risorse e controlli di billing
• Review di IAM, service account, API key, secret, VPN e accessi privilegiati
• Miglioramento di monitoring, logging, alerting, backup e procedure di disaster recovery
• Introduzione o evoluzione dell'Infrastructure as Code, con documentazione di architettura e runbook operativi
• Automazione, scalabilità e supporto on-call sugli incidenti critici di infrastruttura o sicurezza
Requisiti
• Esperienza hands-on su Google Cloud Platform, in particolare Compute Engine, IAM, networking e monitoring
• Solide competenze di amministrazione Linux, troubleshooting e networking
• Esperienza su cloud security, pratiche IAM/least-privilege e incident response
• Esperienza pratica con Terraform o strumenti IaC equivalenti
Nice to have
• Cloud Scheduler e workload automatizzati, GitLab CI/CD, VPN, backup & disaster recovery
• Esperienza su ambienti di produzione piccoli ma mission-critical, dove affidabilità e rapidità di risoluzione fanno la differenza

On behalf of a client,
we are looking for a **Senior Google Cloud Architect / SRE** for a freelance engagement.
This is not a full-time position. We are looking for an experienced freelance professional, initially engaged for an infrastructure review and reengineering project, followed by ongoing advisory support and on-call availability for critical incidents.
Key responsibilities
• Assess and optimize the existing GCP architecture: VMs, networking, storage and cloud services
• Review and improve schedulers, cron jobs, batch processes and infrastructure automation
• Optimize cloud costs, resource sizing and billing controls
• Review IAM, service accounts, API keys, secrets, VPN and privileged access
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, backup and disaster-recovery procedures
• Introduce or improve Infrastructure as Code, and document architecture and operational runbooks
• Improve automation and scalability, and provide on-call support for critical infrastructure or security incidents
Required skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Compute Engine, IAM, networking and monitoring
• Solid Linux administration, troubleshooting and networking skills
• Experience with cloud security, IAM/least-privilege practices and incident response
• Practical experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools
Nice to have
• Cloud Scheduler / automated workloads, GitLab CI/CD, VPNs and backup/disaster recovery
• Previous experience supporting small, mission-critical production environments where reliability and rapid incident resolution are essential
