Global TechOpS oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners. /ph3This is what you will do /h3pWe are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex capital and process engineering projects within the pharmaceutical environment. This role is responsible for delivering projects in compliance with GMP requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, and driving operational excellence across manufacturing and facility initiatives.



/ph3You will be responsible for /h3ulliLeading end-to-end execution of medium and large-scale engineering projects (e.g., facility expansions, cleanroom construction, equipment upgrades, process implementation) /liliDefining project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies /liliEnsuring full compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards /liliCoordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Validation, Manufacturing, HSE and Regulatory Affairs /liliOverseeing design, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and handover phases /liliManaging external contractors, EPC partners, and equipment vendors /liliIdentifying project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans /liliMonitoring KPIs, project milestones, and financial performance /liliLeading governance meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership /liliDriving continuous improvement initiatives and apply best practices in project delivery /li /ulh3You will need to have /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) /lili10 - 12+ years of experience in engineering/project management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry /liliStrong knowledge of GMP, validation processes, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EMA) /liliProven experience managing capital projects in regulated environments /liliDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional and international teams /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills /li /ulh3We would prefer for you to have /h3ulliMaster’s degree or MBA /liliProject Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) /liliExperience with biologics, sterile manufacturing, or API production /liliFamiliarity with digital tools (e.g., MES, SAP, project management software)
