Discover more here. /ph3Global Technical Operations Supply /h3pGlobal Technical Operations Supply (Global TechOpS) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOpS oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners. /ph3This is what you will do /h3pResponsible for the reliability, and continuous improvement of equipment, machinery, and systems within a facility. Ensures optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components across industrial environments. Contributes to operational efficiency, equipment optimization, and automation initiatives to maximize overall performance and productivity.
/ph3You will be responsible for /h3ulliConducting routine inspections of premises and equipment /liliOverseeing and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs and installations /liliDeveloping maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation /liliPlanning and scheduling planned and unplanned maintenance work /liliMonitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary /liliEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation /liliManaging contractors and ensuring they complete works to a satisfactory standard /liliDiagnosing faults and investigating equipment breakdowns /liliAdvising on equipment upgrades or replacements based on its current condition and operational requirements /liliDocumenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference /liliManaging budgets for maintenance-related expenses /liliTraining maintenance staff and managing their work schedules /liliPerforming root cause analysis on major failures and recommending necessary action to prevent recurrence /li /ulh3You will need to have /h3ulliPrevious experience in roles within the pharmaceutical industry (manufacturing environment) /liliAt least 5 years of professional experience in similar roles /liliBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Science (preferred in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or a similar discipline) /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliAdvanced certifications in maintenance or relevant field (Preferred) /liliExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). /liliFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. /liliKnowledge of predictive maintenance techniques. /liliProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. /liliStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
