Acting as the operational Quality representative within production, the role promotes consistent application of drawings, specifications, procedures, control plans and quality standards while improving internal manufacturing quality performance. /ppbr / /ppstrongRole Scope and Accountabilities /strong /pulliSpend approximately 70% of working time in production areas, with the balance dedicated to analysis, reporting, investigations and corrective-action follow-up. /liliProvide operational quality oversight for an assigned plant while collaborating across the wider three-plant manufacturing organisation. /liliOperate primarily on a daytime schedule while recognising that manufacturing activity continues across shifts; prioritise risk-based coverage and effective handovers. /liliOwn timely detection, escalation and containment of internal product and process nonconformities; lead or coordinate root-cause investigations within the agreed quality governance model.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliPerform visual and dimensional inspections during production. /liliVerify compliance with drawings, specifications, work instructions and control plans. /liliIdentify, document and manage product and process non-conformities. /liliLead or support root-cause investigations and corrective actions. /liliAnalyse recurring defects, scrap and rework to identify improvement opportunities. /liliSupport shop-floor audits and follow up on corrective actions. /liliCollaborate with Production and Engineering to improve manufacturing quality. /li /ulpstrongRequirements /strong /pulliDegree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field, or technical diploma with relevant experience. /liliPrevious experience in Quality Control, Manufacturing Quality or industrial production. /liliAbility to read technical drawings and use dimensional measurement equipment. /liliKnowledge of ISO 9001, non-conformity management and root-cause analysis methodologies. /liliBasic knowledge of SPC and quality metrics. /liliHands-on, shop-floor-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills. /liliGood English is preferred. /li /ulpbr / /p
