You will own technical delivery end-to-end, from specification to production, leading a distributed engineering team based in China. /ppbr/ppbThe role /b /ppbr/ppRebell's merchant platform runs across two engineering hubs, one of them a 15-person team based in Chengdu. /ppWe're hiring a Tech Lead to take full ownership of the China-based engineering team, planning, execution, release quality, and become the person who actually understands how both platforms talk to each other: payment lifecycle, merchant integration, bank gateway. You'll turn a distributed, multi-vendor setup into one that ships fast and doesn't surprise anyone.

/ppIf you like walking into a team that's technically solid but can be improved structurally, and leaving it running like clockwork, this is the job. /ppbr/ppbWhat you'll do /b /ppbr/pullibOwn end-to-end delivery of the Chengdu-based platform team /b: planning, execution and release quality, reporting to the IT Integration Director. /lilibBe the technical bridge between the two platform /bs: master how both work, payment lifecycle, merchant integration, bank gateway, and make cross-platform dependencies visible and managed, not discovered. /lilibRaise specification quality at the source /b: write PRDs, ISAs, API contracts and acceptance criteria to Rebell standards, cutting review iterations and lost-in-translation rework. /lilibManage the vendor relationship day to day /b: own scope, estimates and acceptance from the Rebell side, rather than receiving them from the vendor. /lilibGrow the team's autonomy /b: coach engineers on Rebell's ways of working, Jira as the single delivery channel, documented decisions, testable requirements. /liliSplit your week across team management (daily stand ups with the China team), technical reviews, and stakeholder alignment with partners such as A+ (Alipay) and Wipro.
