Distribution and Asset Rotation (DAR) Intern

The Intern will join the Distribution and Asset Rotation (DAR) desk, supporting the syndicate team based in Milan, operating within an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which demands multi-tasking and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.

This experience will provide the intern with a unique opportunity to develop her/his knowledge of the Italian syndicated loan market, with a focus on loan distribution for large and mid-cap corporates, LBOs and asset-based finance projects (e.g. real estate and project finance).

The candidate will be involved in:

- Preparation of internal presentations and pitches
- Preparation of internal syndicated opinions to present financing opportunities to credit committees
- Liaising with other teams (e.g. sales and origination teams, coverage etc..) in relation to transactions to be syndicated
- Preparation of post-transaction memoranda
- Market, benchmark and comparable analysis through Dealogic, Loanconnector and internal tools




- Analysis of main players within the Italian syndicated loan market (data analysis and PowerPoint presentations) for internal and client/investor meeting purposes

Requirements:

LANGUAGES

- Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus

IT

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Bloomberg platform will be a plus

SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE

- Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects relevant to Financial Markets/Intermediaries, Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Previous experience in a similar position (e.g. a syndicate desk or origination team) will be a plus
- Preference for candidates already graduated.
