Position Summary:
The EMEA-AP Strategy & PMO Manager leads and drives the strategic project portfolio of the EMEA-AP region. The role runs the regional Project Management Office for the key transformation projects and supports the Head of Region EMEA-AP in shaping the regional strategy agenda by facilitating workshops, driving actions and support in preparing analyses and presentations for the Management Team and the Advisory Committee.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic project management & PMO
- Lead and run the regional PMO for the key transformation projects;
- Define project charters, governance, milestones and KPIs in close collaboration with technical project leads, site management and central functions;
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, track critical-path activities, manage risks, dependencies and escalations;
- Drive regular project reporting to the Head of Region, the Group CEO and the shareholder;
- Coordinate external consultants, engineering partners and EPC interfaces where projects require it.
Regional strategy
- Support the Head of Region in shaping and updating the EMEA-AP regional strategy and annual operating plan;
- Lead the preparation of business reviews, strategy days and target/milestone definitions for the region;
- Conduct market, customer, competitive and operational analyses to inform strategic decisions;
- Identify and structure new strategic initiatives and opportunities across EMEA-AP.
Chief of Staff support:
- Prepare presentations, briefing notes and decision documents for the Management Team and the Advisory Committee;
- Drive preparation and follow-up of Management Team meetings; track decisions and action items through to closure.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSRequired Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent;
- Excellent (business fluent) English skills as a must; additional European languages are a plus;
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and M365 Copilot or equivalent AI tool, experience with SAP and BI tools as a plus;
- 2–3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting firm in industrial /manufacturing environments (operations, capex, footprint, site transformation);
- Proven exposure to complex transformation programs, PMO setups and senior stakeholder. xysqume
- Strong structured problem-solving, financial and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with credibility in front of executives, board members and share holders;
- High motivation, energy and independent drive, thrives in fast-moving environments;
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with a strong ownership mindset.
Work place: Group Headquarter, Milan (Willingness for regular business travel in Europe)
