Role Description The Style Advisor role at Suitsupply is a full-time, on-site position based in Milan. In this role, you provide personalized fashion consulting, guiding customers through suiting and casual collections to create looks that match their style, needs, and fit preferences. You deliver attentive customer service, including fitting support, coordinating alterations with in-house tailors, and ensuring that every guest leaves with an optimal fit. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming customers, learning about their preferences,
explaining product features and fabrics, and assisting with styling, measurements, and outfit coordination. You also support sales floor operations by maintaining visual standards, replenishing merchandise, using Suitsupply’s digital tools (such as size passport), and contributing to store sales goals through proactive, service-led selling.
Qualifications
- Strong product knowledge and interest in tailoring, fabrics, and menswear construction.
- Skills in fashion consulting and styling to create cohesive, personalized looks for diverse customers.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and provide clear, confident guidance.
- Customer service experience, with a focus on hospitality, problem-solving, and follow-through.
- Sales skills, including clienteling, upselling, and working toward individual and team targets.
- Ability to work on-site in Milan, with flexibility for retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and digital tools to support fittings and customer profiles.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
- Prior experience in fashion retail or luxury customer service is an advantage.
- Fluency in Italian and good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
