PE Global Recruitment are currently working with one of Europe's leading Data centre delivery partners to recruit a Project Manager to join the team in Milan. This is a tempo pieno, permanent opportunity.

The Job

We are seeking an experienced Project Manage r to join our team on a large-scale data centre project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of all systems, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating with other disciplines, and driving progress from procurement through to commissioning and handover

Responsibilities:

- Lead productivity by implementing effective weekly and daily work plans.
- Supervise and monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Uphold the highest Quality and Safety standards through diligent implementation and monitoring of procedures.
- Track labour, manage resource allocation, and maintain accurate productivity records.
- Engage proactively with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.




- Liaise with design teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and support project teams, supervisors, and foremen to drive performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with foremen to ensure materials, equipment, and information are in place for safe, efficient work execution.
- Coordinate activities with other subcontractors to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient site operations.
- Review and approve project documentation and foremen reports, ensuring timely closeout of all issues.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel , and other relevant project management tools.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multidisciplinary project activities.
- Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of project financial management and cost control.
- Capable of working under pressure to meet demanding schedules while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
