pResponsibilities /pulliCommission BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.
/liliCarry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system commissioning.
/liliTest and commission HVAC control systems including AHUs, chillers, pumps, CRAC/CRAH units and associated equipment.
/liliConfigure and test BMS controllers, I/O, sensors, actuators and field devices.
/liliDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, controls and communication issues.
/liliComplete functional performance testing in accordance with project specifications.
/liliSupport integrated systems testing (IST) and client witnessing activities.
/liliWork with electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate commissioning activities.
/liliInterface with PLCs, HVAC equipment and other third-party systems.
/liliTest communications and integrations using protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
/liliReview BMS graphics, alarms, trends, sequences and control strategies.
/liliProduce commissioning records, test sheets and technical documentation.
/liliIdentify defects and ensure issues are resolved prior to project handover.
/liliLiaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and project management teams.
/liliSupport final project handover and provide technical assistance during the defects period.
/liliEnsure all commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.
/li /ulpbr/ppDesired Experience /pulliProven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, BMS Controls Engineer or Controls Commissioning Engineer.
/liliStrong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems.
/liliExperience commissioning DDC, PLC or BMS control systems.
/liliStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
/liliExperience with HVAC plant and mechanical services.
/liliGood understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and field devices.
/liliExperience with BACnet, Modbus or similar communication protocols.
/liliAbility to read electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation.
/liliData centre / critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
/liliExperience working on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
/liliStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and contractors.
/liliWillingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
/liliFluent Italian and good English would be highly advantageous.
