/b /p pThe Product Quality Engineer acts as the vital link between field performance and product evolution.
The role leverages real-world data, lessons learned, customer feedback, warranty information, and reliability analysis to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and future product designs.
The position leads structured problem-solving activities, drives robust Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensures corrective actions are effectively implemented to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability.
/p h3What kind of work will you be doing?
/h3 ul liAnalyze field, warranty, and customer quality data to identify performance trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities.
/li liLead and facilitate 8D investigations for customer complaints, field failures, warranty claims, and recurring quality issues.
/li liDrive robust Root Cause Analysis utilizing 5 Why, Fishbone, Is/Is Not, Fault Tree Analysis, Kepner-Tregoe, and other structured methodologies.
/li liCoordinate containment, correction, corrective action, and preventive action activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Service.
/li liValidate root causes through testing, inspection, statistical analysis, and engineering evidence.
/li liVerify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure sustainable implementation.
/li liInterface with factories to drive manufacturing improvements and deployment of lessons learned.
/li liProvide quality and reliability inputs into DVT, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and product development activities.
/li liDefine and lead Product Quality Plans including EOL testing and validation requirements.
/li liMonitor prototype builds, participate in approval processes, and report results.




/li liPartner with Supplier Quality Engineering and Procurement to improve supplier performance and reliability.
/li liSupport development of quality processes, inspection plans, and Critical-to-Quality controls.
/li liCollect, analyze, and report quality, reliability, warranty, and performance metrics.
/li liLead reliability and field quality reviews and deploy lessons learned across the organization.
/li liSupport End-to-End quality improvement projects.
/li /ul h3What will make you successful?
/h3 ul liAdvanced knowledge of 8D Problem Solving and CAPA methodologies.
/li liStrong Root Cause Analysis skills using 5 Why, Fishbone, Is/Is Not, Fault Tree Analysis, and evidence-based investigation techniques.
/li liExperience leading cross-functional investigations involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Service teams.
/li liStrong analytical and statistical problem-solving capability.
/li liWorking knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and process capability tools.
/li liExperience using warranty, reliability, and field performance data to drive improvements.
/li liAbility to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
/li liGood English language skills.
/li liKnowledge of refrigeration, thermal management, HVAC, or related technologies preferred.
/li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or related technical field.
/li li5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Engineering, or related functions.
/li li3+ years of experience leading RCA, 8D investigations, and corrective action activities in a manufacturing environment.
/li liExperience working within ISO **** or equivalent quality management systems.
/li liExperience working in cross-functional teams.
/li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul li7+ years of quality, reliability, manufacturing, or product engineering experience.
/li liSix Sigma Green Belt,



Black Belt, ASQ CQE, or equivalent certification.
/li liExperience with customer complaints, warranty analysis, and field reliability improvement programs.
/li liExperience within HVAC, thermal management, refrigeration, electromechanical equipment, or related industries.
