/p h3What You'll Do /h3 pAs a Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll lead the design and execution of automation systems that integrate Makino machining centers with robotics and material handling solutions.
/p pKey responsibilities include: /p ul liDesign automation equipment such as end?of?arm tooling, conveyors, safety systems, and system layouts /li liPerform mechanical analysis (tolerance stack?ups, stress, deflection, etc.) /li liConduct robot reach studies and support system layout development /li liPartner with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and customers from concept through final system acceptance /li liSupport fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting of automated systems /li liLead design reviews and contribute to project cost estimates and proposals /li liTroubleshoot technical issues and provide practical, cost?effective solutions /li liStay current on emerging automation technologies and recommend design improvements /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred)
or equivalent technical experience /li li7+ years of mechanical design experience, including automation systems /li liStrong experience with bCAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) /b /li liBackground in designing machinery, automation systems, or robotic integration /li liKnowledge of pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and system design /li liFamiliarity with industry standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO, CE, RIA) /li liExperience troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems /li liAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast?paced, collaborative environment /li liStrong communication skills and ability to work cross?functionally /li liWillingness to travel up to 10% /li /ul pAt Makino, we invest in our people—offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and opportunities to grow your career while working with industry?leading technology.
